Wedding Celebration Ceremony - from £500*

No two relationships are the same, and neither should two weddings be. I will take the time to learn your story, and weave that into a perfectly bespoke and well- structured ceremony, written especially for you. This ceremony can take place anywhere and at any time, and be as traditional or alternative as you like!

The fee includes as many meetings, phone/video calls or emails as it takes to make sure that the script for the ceremony is exactly as you wish. It is really important to me that you are completely happy with the ceremony, leaving you to focus on the myriad other details of the day! I can guide you in your choice of readings or poems, and can provide outdoor sound if you need it. It is perfectly fine to include some religious elements if you wish.

Many people also choose to include a symbolic element in their ceremony, such as lighting unity candles, sand ceremonies, ring warming, hand-fasting or jumping the broom. You can source the materials for yourself, if you wish to keep them afterwards, or I can provide them for you.

On the day I will present you with a signed commemorative certificate and a souvenir copy of the script in a presentation box, for you to treasure.

Baby Naming or adoption ceremony- from £400*

The arrival of a new family member is a joyous occasion, and always a cause for celebration. However, fewer and fewer families feel close enough to the church to have a traditional christening service. A celebrant-led naming ceremony gives the opportunity to welcome your child to your family and circle of friends in exactly the way you would wish to. In any place. You can choose to include some religious elements if you wish. I can guide you in your choices of readings and poems, and of course, you can include symbolic elements.

As well as promises from the parent(s) and supporting adults, you might choose to include grandparents and older siblings, as well as formally welcome half brothers and sisters to the new unit. Some parents find that their baby naming ceremony is an ideal opportunity to make new vows to each other now that they have a child, especially if they are not married or in a civil partnership.

On the day I will present you with a signed commemorative certificate and a keepsake copy of the script in a presentation box.

Renewal of Vows Ceremony – from £450*

Marriage is a process of growth and change, and many couples find themselves wanting to make a fresh start by renewing their vows, for many different reasons. I can help you create a ceremony that reflects who you are, and the journey you have taken, as well as guide you in choices of readings and poems. This ceremony can be as laid back or traditional as you wish!

Commitment Ceremony – from £450*

Marriage isn’t for everyone, and many couples are choosing to celebrate their relationship in the form of a commitment ceremony. It is a way of declaring their intent without the legal component. Although generally less structured than a traditional wedding, it can include similar elements, such as exchanging rings, vows and other symbolic components.

On the day I will present you with a signed commemorative certificate and a souvenir copy of the script in a presentation box, for you to treasure.

Script only - from £150*

Many families have a good friend or family member in mind who they would like to deliver their ceremony, so they may simply want a script to give them to read. I will take the time to learn your story and then create your ceremony. I will advise you on general structure, readings and other elements if you wish. This “script only” service takes a lot of the pressure off your willing amateur celebrant, and means that they can enjoy the build-up to your ceremony knowing that they’ve got it under control.

*small print – stated fees apply to ceremonies carried out within 30 miles of the BB7 postcode. Additional travel will incur mileage at the standard rate of 45p per mile, within the UK. International travel and phone calls subject to agreement.
